Job Description

Position Summary
As a Senior International Sales Account Manager, you will lead international sales initiatives targeting global carriers, cloud providers, ISPs, and enterprise clients. This role is ideal for experienced professionals who thrive in cross-border engagements, understand global telecom trends, and can independently manage complex sales cycles from strategy to closure.

Key Responsibilities
🔹 Global Client Acquisition & Relationship Management

  • Identify, pursue, and close opportunities with international telcos, cloud providers, and enterprise clients
  • Build long-term relationships across multiple stakeholders and decision-making levels

🔹 Strategic Sales Execution

  • Craft market-entry strategies and customised proposals for international clients
  • Leverage CRM insights and market data to prioritise pipeline and forecast revenue accurately

🔹 Solution Selling & Cross-Border Coordination

  • Understand client challenges and match them with IX’s connectivity, managed services, and engineering capabilities
  • Collaborate with internal teams (pre-sales, NOC, project delivery) to ensure excellent service execut

🔹 Revenue & Margin Ownership

  • Achieve quarterly/annual international sales targets
  • Lead negotiations, pricing strategy, and contract renewals with clients and partners

🔹 Market Development & Representation

  • Represent IX Telecom at international events, expos, and partner engagements
  • Provide market feedback to shape new solutions and localised strategies

Qualifications

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Telecommunications, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in international B2B sales, preferably in telecom, network services, or tech
  • Strong understanding of connectivity products: IP Transit, DIA, SD-WAN, Cloud Connectivity
  • Demonstrated success in closing high-value deals and managing global clients
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Fluent in English; multilingual ability (Bahasa Malaysia/Indonesia) is a plus
  • Able to work across time zones and travel for business purposes
